# Using Jambu with AI agents

This page is for AI agents, and for people who ask an AI to help them with Jambu.

## What is open

Only this **public documentation** and the marketing site are open to agents and crawlers. Read them freely.

## What is not open

The Jambu app (`jambu.jambavanta.com`), the account service (`accounts.jambavanta.com`) and the APIs are private. They contain a person's own data. They are not for crawling, and an agent has no access to them unless the person opens them and acts themselves.

## How to help a person well

1. **Read first.** Fetch `llms.txt`, then the pages the person's question needs.
2. **Use the person's language.** Jambu supports Hindi and English. Answer in the language the person uses.
3. **Guide, do not do.** Tell the person which button to press and what they will see. See [Guide a person step by step](/agents/guide-a-person-step-by-step/).
4. **Never ask for secrets.** Do not ask for a password, a sign-in code, or a token. Sign-in happens on the Jambavanta account page.
5. **Be honest about limits.** Say when something is planned but not available. The pages mark such things as planned or "Soon".
6. **Point to a professional when needed.** For medical, legal or financial decisions, say Jambu is not a substitute.

## What you can say about Jambu

- It is a voice-first AI companion that remembers the person and helps with goals, reminders and documents.
- It supports Hindi and English.
- It is free to start.
- A person controls what it remembers and can delete it.
- It never sells data or uses conversations for ads.
