# Chat with Jambu

## Start a chat

Open **Chat**. Jambu opens your last chat. Choose **New chat** for a fresh one. Type in the box at the bottom, or press the microphone to speak.

## Continue a chat

Your recent chats are listed in the sidebar under **Recent chats**. Use **Search chats** to find one. A chat has its own address, so you can bookmark it.

## Talk to a particular agent

Type `@` and choose an agent, such as the Money Mentor, to speak to it directly. Or stay with Super Jambu and let it bring in others.

## Link a goal

Use **Link a goal** at the top of a chat to attach the chat to one of your goals, so progress is tracked there.

## The right-hand panel

- **Tools**: switch on or off what the agent may use, such as your context, web search, library, documents, forms and quizzes.
- **Context**: what Jambu knows that is relevant, with the controls to change it.

## Modes

The mode menu next to the agent's name changes how the agent behaves for this chat, for example how it teaches.

## Delete a chat

Choose **Delete** at the top right of the panel to remove the chat.

## Tips

- Say what you want in plain words. You do not need special commands.
- Ask follow-up questions; Jambu keeps the thread.
- If an answer looks wrong, say so and ask again.
