# Use Jambu with your voice

## Speak

Press the **microphone** next to the message box and talk. Jambu listens in your browser's language and writes what it heard. Send it when you are done.

## Listen

Use the **play** button to have a reply read aloud. A profile set for voice starts with replies read aloud by default.

## Simple mode

Simple mode shows bigger text and fewer buttons. It is meant for people who would rather talk than type. Ask the person who looks after the household account to set it on a profile.

## Tips for good results

- Use a quiet place and speak at a normal pace.
- Allow microphone access when your browser asks.
- If it mishears, say it again or edit the text before sending.

## Good to know

Voice today uses your browser's speech features, so quality depends on your browser and device. Better voice and more languages are planned.
