#Language

Jambu writes and speaks in the language you use. You can set an ordered list of languages in your profile. If you mix Hindi and English, it follows your mix.

#Region

Your region decides how things are written:

• dates and times in your time zone
• money in your currency, with the local way of grouping large numbers
• units and common terms

#Where Jambu thinks you are

Your account has a home country and city, which you set. When you sign in, Jambu also learns your approximate current location from your network, to the nearest city. It is a guess and may be wrong, and it never replaces what you set.

#Adding languages

Languages and regions are data, not code. A new language is added by adding its pack, so it is quick to extend.
