#Sign in and your account
Jambu does not keep passwords itself. Sign-in is handled by the Jambavanta account service at accounts.jambavanta.com, which all Jambavanta products share.
#How signing in works
- You open Jambu. If you are not signed in, you are sent to the account page.
- You sign in with your email, or with Google.
- The account page sends you back to Jambu with a one-time code, and Jambu opens your session.
- A short-lived access token keeps you signed in, and it renews itself quietly while you use Jambu.
#Your account page
On the account site you can:
- see the devices and places you are signed in from
- sign out of other devices
- change your sign-in details and security settings
- manage or close your account
#Signing out
Sign out from Jambu, or from the account page to end every session.
#Safe by default
Your sign-in details are never shown to Jambu. If you notice a device you do not recognise, sign out of it from the account page and change your password.
Next: The first five minutes.
